As you have probably seen in the videos, we pull out 3" screws set into wood beams, so if the shot into masonry is an inch or less we should be ok. Also, please confirm if the flooring is glued down as well. When hardwood is glued to concrete, the hardwood tends to splinter rather than come up in lengths. **Q: Is this good for removing laminate floor?** A: Great for removing laminate (and other types of flooring) as well as subfloor, decking, etc. Used one on a mission trip and had to have one. Makes my life easier **Q: What is the width of the opening between the forks?** A: 4 1/2” at the widest point on the end then it narrows down to2 1/8” to the base of the handle. **Q: Can you use this to remove linoleum floors?** A: It can be used on linoleum if there is wood subfloor.
