### ⭐⭐ Don't Use for Patio Light Application

I am sure this wire works well for the correct application, but DO NOT purchase this wire if you intend to string up and support String Lights. Amazon recommended that i purchase this product along with the Globe String Lights i was buying and i couldn't recommend this wire less for that job.Unless you are extremely careful when unwinding this wire, it will get tangled and kinked. Once the wire is tangled and kinked, it is nearly impossible to straighten out. The best wire to use for string lights, or any application that requires removing tension with a turnbuckle or direction changes, would be a braided wire. I ended up using a 16 gauge braided wire for my project and it worked great.

### ⭐⭐ Not for Hanging Heavy Duty String Lights

Terrible for hanging string lights. As other reviewers have confirmed, the wire stretches with weight making it difficult to hang lights with. Also, because it is in a roll, the wire maintains some of the wave shape once hung. If you're hanging heavy duty string lights, I would recommend looking at vinyl-coated steel cable (not wire) which will stretch flat once hung.
