It's a big arm, and if I would put the adapter as intended , on horizontal position , I would have lost access to one side of the mini pc, with usb C ports. In one of the photos you can "see" when I hold the mini pc close to the arm. I intend to buy one more, because I want to mount also a Mac mini probably on the bottom side, I'll update the review after I'll do it. Great product, recommend for whoever needs something like that. The screws supplied with the kit are too long to have only the bracket and NUC attached with no monitor arm. the setup still works but the bracket flaps around. This could be fixed easily by including shorter screws or a spacer in the kit. I had three NUCs that I wanted mount on the underside of my desk, so I purchased these, I don't have NUC plates for them. It is well engineered item, that would be much better with a fraction more metal and two correctly positioned holes for bolts into the bottom of a NUC.
