We originally had it on top of a carpet and the tiles kept pulling apart which was annoying. Now it’s on the wooden floor and works much better. I had kind of hoped it would look lovely and pristine like it does in those baby Instagram accounts...Unfortunately our cat is a big fan of the design as well and loves to scratch it and has left it dappled with tiny holes. The dirt gets caught up in all the little groves.
