I immediately thought, "What a scam! They sell their own garbage bags too!?" There's no way we're buying the Simple Human bags!"Well after comparing prices I quickly found out they are very close in price to other brands when you break it down to a per bag cost. And then I justified the slightly higher cost by how few we actually use (roughly one bag per week, never more than two). So I'm looking at spending maybe $8 more per year (comparing to other leading brands offering quality bags).Well after we use the first bag it all made sense to me. The bag is shaped to fit the can. This not only means that it fits on in a very clean way with no excess at the brim, but also the trash itself forms nicely to the size/shape of the can. Upon pulling the bag out, after full, the trash stays in that shape making it easy to carry out and fits in your garbage can nicely. The handles that cinch the top are strong and after using these bags for over a year now I've yet to have one tear. These are things I haven't experienced with other bags.
