Tie rod compromised. *by K***. on Reviewed in the United States on June 14, 2017* The control arm fits fine but the OEM replacement inner tie rod ends are NOT to specifications. The OEM boot is supposed to fit tight. The original ITRE has a swell in the rod so the boot fits tight and then you zip tie to hold. The ITRE''s I received from Detroit Axel didn't have a swell. It looks as if it specs were read backwards because instead of a swell of about 1/8 inch, it actually gets thinner by about the same, like someone put it on a lathe and chewed off about 1/8 inch right where the boot is supposed to fasten.
