Both bubble levels read true. Shooting a crest is easy. Needle points magnetic north, as expected. Not bad, considering the price point, and those of similar items. I had to set it to 7.5° Declination in order to calibrate readings to match with Brunton. 1°or 2° off is one thing, 5° off is pointless, might as well use a pin-on bubble compass. Returning. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Needs better technical instruction *by J***O on December 19, 2020* Overall pretty good compass compared to the expensive Bruntons. The down side is the poorly written technical manual. Looks like it was written in English by someone whose first language was most likely Chinese because that’s most likely where it was made. Some of the instructions made no sense.
