It does leak a little where the threads are incompletely welded to the end of the spout. On average it takes me fifty pumps per gallon. A five gallon container takes several minutes and two sore arms and 250 +/- pumps. I'm glad I have it but I wish I had spent more for something better. It's totally functional.
