I had to order a converter to make this fit a non-harp socket but that need was NOT due to the seller or description. I needed the spring type clamp that mounts the shade to a bulb rather than a harp. The only situation I encountered is the ring on top of the shade was too thick for the adapter I ordered. A different fineal solved the problem. Good product, I'll order it again if I destroy this one. Negative?
