It fits snugly and provides an extra little bit of grip for large hands. The stitching is perfect, the real leather is fine, and the base plate and thumb screw are finished nicely. Getting it on the first time was a bit tedious, it took a second try to get it positioned so that the battery door would open easily. At this point I don't see any reason to ever remove it.
