**Q: will two of these cables connect together to make a 20' cable?**
A: You should be able to do this. I had a 40 foot cable I needed to extend to 50 feet and it worked great.

**Q: are all 8 pins wire through?  I actually need a 8 pin mimi din to wire pigtails, but if all 8 pins are wired I can improvise.**
A: Yes. This is a straight through 'extension' cable. Simple pass through.

**Q: I have rear view monitor that has a 8 pin connection. I want to extend it. Will this 8pin connection work?**
A: Should work if the Signal Strength is enough.

**Q: Does it work for rs-485?, or it's just for rs-232**
A: Will work for both Signals.
