I though my dogs would easily tear through it, or that the plastic clip thingies would break but I have been pleasantly surprised. It has completely held up against my two little monsters and it stops them from pushing each other down the stairs or running down to bark whenever the doorbell rings. They're much safer now and it has saved me so much trouble and put my mind at ease. Very simple and quick to put together, but make sure you measure before you buy because it's one size and not adaptable.
