These seem to wipe down very well. She has a major accident the other day and it did not seem to go through to the foam bed. You could however "see" where the wet had been even though it did not feel wet. I wiped it down with a bacterial wet wipe and put outside to air and dry. Seemed to work ok as the spot disappeared almost immediately. First of all, the material is soft and cool- both of my furbabies love them. I really like that I can use them as a two-in-one; meaning I have another waterproof cover that is more of liner, so when I use it I need a bedcover too. These, I can put it on their bed as is and they lay right on top of it. These are truly waterproof too. They absolutely do not soak through.
