I have slept on this pillow for one night and it seems just fine. A tad firm compared with the ancient pillows I used to have. Mine have no residual rubbery smell. One reviewer in April last year said his were made in China. He may have received a fake. Mine have labels and customs declarations in Italian.It's a matter of taste how deep a pillow you want, I found just one pillow is fine. They do come very compressed when packed but rapidly expand.I don't know what a perfect pillow might be - there might be something out there that will rock me to sleep, but these are certainly good enough.
