Please note - I have NOT been paid or given this product to review or been given a discount on it (sure wish I knew how those folks did that) I love it. It is a little shorter than what I had hoped for but I could have taken out a tape measure and looked at it. The packaging consisted of this item being wrapped in bubble wrap. It folds in on itself - no assembly needed at all and I love it to death. It is great for in my apartment in front of my patio window. It is just so perfect and well made. I like the look of the stand but I think it is priced a little too high. If I had the opportunity to see the stand in person I don't think I would have paid more than $35-40.00 but that's just me. On the other hand since it is both for indoor and outdoor use so maybe that justitifies the cost.As far as functionality, I was able to fit a large pot on the top tier and 2 smaller sized pots on the bottom 2 tiers. The bottom 2 tiers are close together so there is a little bit of a limit on the width and heights of your pots. That wasn't an issue for the pots I put on it but if you have 3 rather large sized plants, it might be difficult. I do like the convenience of adjusting the legs to place it in the best spot but I wish there was a clip or something to lock the legs. A slight move to the stand could make it fold like a house of cards and you need to ensure the 3 legs are angled properly for the weight (in my case the top tier has heaviest weight causing a bit of imbalance while bottom tiers have my lighter weight pots).Each plant holder measures 8.50 inches across.
