I felt confident and after some research, settled on this due to its vast number of reviews.Well, unfortunately my newfound YouTube skills did not translate over to real life too well. What I thought would take me 10 minutes tops ended up taking me nearly an hour. I’m not sure if it’s similar to all cars, but here’s what I did in my 2014 Honda Civic EX-L.Obviously, pop the hood and locate the windshield washer reservoir. If you want to keep the wiper fluid, and then place a bucket underneath the reservoir, otherwise all the liquid will be spilt. There is a “screw” that keeps the reservoir connected, so pop that out (I ended up using a flat-head screwdriver to assist). Once that’s out, shimmy the reservoir out and you’ll have access to the first 9006 bulb. It’s connected to a white “socket” that you can also use a flat-head screwdriver to shimmy apart. For my car, I had to twist the old bulb and pull it out (locking mechanism). After that, insert the LED bulb in and twist it to lock it in place. Then insert the plug of the LED into the socket and you’re done with the right side!Next, the left side is somewhat easier. I’m not sure the real name for it, but there is a black shroud that needs to be taken off. It has two screw caps attached that pop out easily. After that comes out, then you’re free to pop out the plug and light. After you’re done, make sure to place everything back where it belongs.Despite my lack of experience, I’m super happy with the results. The lights are amazingly bright and are even better than the OEM’s. The material quality itself is a good testament to how long they will last, and I’m glad I made the purchase. If there are any changes to their condition, then I’ll be sure to note it. As of now, I am happy with the better visibility I’ll experience on our dark roads.Update 4/28/2020: I'm disappointed that these did not even last 7 months. It took me a bit to check up on the bulb as there are other things going on (COVID), but the right bulb faltered months prior to me writing this update. For something that is supposed to last 35,000, one did not even last approximately 300. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very bright *by S***E on Reviewed in the United States on March 13, 2019* My photos are a before and after. After being the white light. These are really good! Very bright. I can see further and wider, allowing me to be more safe and having the visibility I need anywhere. I installed these lights on my Chevy pickup and it was very easy to install. You can see farther with standard halogen bulb. Too much about how white they are. I could not see to drive with these bulbs. They also effect you fm radio station reception. The lights would go off when high beams were engaged. The positive reviews made me buy these but they did not work as described. The beam is not bright enough and does not go far down the road.
