I have very dry and old skin that does not take kindly to hard water. The water here in south Alabama is really bad. I first tried this a couple of years ago and I was totally hooked! My dry skin is not so dry, it feels soft and smooth and my silver hair is wonderfully soft yet full of body. The water softener cartridge is worth its weight in gold. I was skeptical at first but, after the 3rd shower my family and I noticed the huge difference. This filter does work, folks. It's well worth the cost. Takes most all the chlorine and impurities out of the water.
