I mean like 500 quid lower than previously advertised by not only TENZO here on Amazon, but by other outlets and TENZO directly. So for me, who was looking for just a small set of TENZO malibu, small set of drawers - my budget allowed me to purchase this large piece.ASTHETICIf you were born in the UK in the 50s-1970s, this style is very reminiscent of those kitchen cabinets with the pull down door where you could butter your bread etc. Its new Kitch I think. Really beautiful take on this style. Slightly off white colour, the detail to the window inset, the curved smooth but minimal edges. These edges are also round the doors. To me a really beautiful touch. Its compact bur spacious and this makes it a great addition to a tired kitchen. It would look good in a space if fitted cupboard are removed. It brings style and and utility. The display area lets you do just that and is spacious. It's so pleasing to the eye and is not lost in my tenement kitchen along with some white fitted units. Its low enough to allow you to show off your ornaments, plants. Which can be seen easily even by my 5ft 2" height. Ive added some lights to the top also. They make me happy. So do the really cool feet.UTILITYThe drawers fit snugly and and deeper than a standard drawer. They are definately deep enough to satisfy, keeping dishes, cutlery, my toaster fits in it. So I think the drawers are very very useful. The large door on the east side of the unit, im now using as a laundry space. Its got a removable shelf which allows me a standard cheap bin to use for a laundry basket. It fits perfectly. Means mu laundry is now hidden from view. I store my laundry materials in the shelf above it. Im so delighted with this aspect. The other shelf next to the laundry shelf im currently keeping cereal boxes and snacks. So far its not been contaminated by the smell of the laundry materials next door. The lower shelf under the drawers now homes all my cats food and dishes. Another boon.This cabinet has essentially stopped me from needing to think about a new kitchen. It copes with the overspill from my current cabinets. It could also be excellent a full pantry for food. Plenty room and ability to shelf your food in departments etc.If you have a small kitchen, this piece will cope with a fair amount of essential items. It also looks really good. And if you just had that and a few cupboards, unless you are a Cooking genius. Then it would be perfect for a full on cooks unit. Storing pots and ingredients along with those large kitchen accessories.QUALITYI thought perhaps at such a low price I would be dealing with a less than perfect item. It was perfect. It was spotless. However I've read with interest the reviewer that has a long time experience with this brand. So I do believe the quality must have sadly dropped. However im in Scotland and in the UK we have grown used to a lower quality affordable furniture. We shop in large expensive stores to get some quality. So this is only what I can compare this to. Its real strong well built quality. I had a joiner to build it, which he did with easy. The sheer weight of the piece is really powerful. So I cannot move the unit now its in place. Two stronger folk would need to move it. Its solid too. Its basically MDF lacquered to a high level. The pieces are thick so it is heavy.
