I wash my face when I shower daily and it will need "refreshing" about every 3 days. If you are in the pool every day, I would think you need to reapply at least weekly. I use very little on my face so one tube lasts me months. It gives me enough of a tan for people to comment that I must be playing a lot of tennis without it looking like a "fake" tan. **Q: After application do you have to wash your skin** A: At Banana Boat we recommend to wait at least 3 hours for best results. The color will develop in 2-3 hours after application.
