Some reviews seem to be for a different model. *by B***N on May 9, 2024* Seems to be working well enough between 0C and 100C. Will probably work for my purposes and the price is right. Documentation leaves a lot to be desired. So 4 stars right now. However, I am a little concerned that the unit went completely dead after using it a couple of minutes. There is an auto shutoff, but turning on/off did not fix. Changed the battery and it came back. Auto shutoff seems to work now, as it comes back after power button is pressed. So far so good, but still.... Factory reset occurs when changing battery - not mentioned in the manual or description. There is no calibration option despite some reviews mentioning it. There is no certification of accuracy, not surprising given the price. Plugs are extremely tight. Requires some care as unit does not seem very sturdy. Actual temperature range is confusing. Temperature range in the manual is 50C (?) to1300C and also says -50C to 400C for "TP01". Am I supposed to know what "TP01" means?
