The seat has some bounce to it so I'm optimistic that it will last longer than my previous foam chairs did. Also if you have short legs, or need to fit under a lower desk, this is for you. I'm 5'3" and this is the first chair I've had that my feet touch the ground (not just my toes!). It certainly can raise up higher for you taller folks, but I've ordered petite chairs before and they were no where near short enough. It's wider than I'd like so maybe it isn't a true petite chair, but the lumbar hits me correctly and it feels like a quality, durable chair. Easy to assemble. I just took about 15 minutes. It has a high back and it is extremely comfortable.I like it because I can adjust the height easily up and down and tilt-back .
