It's not a normal bedskirt, i.e. a flat sheet with ruffles on three sides that lies over the foundation under the mattress. There's no "sheet", only the ruffles connected on the forth side by two thin elastic straps. Even under a 14" mattress it tends to bunch & shift. I'm constantly having to pull it back in place. A frame by itself isn't going to hold it in place any better. **Q: Is ths King/Queen too big for a queen? I bought another brand with the same sizing but its way too big for my queen bed.** A: fits fine on queen. **Q: Will this fit a California King bed?** A: I have a regular king but I think it will work on a California King also. **Q: Will this fit a daybed?** A: I don’t know. I bought a queen size and it fits my queen perfectly.
