After the why essential oils and the safety tips, Dr.Ozz tells us about the uses for the various essential oils. For pain and fever, a good nights sleep and for colds and the flu. I like his final chapter entitled oils that every mother should have. He comes up with the top 10 oils, which is good because there are so many of them. Lavender tops the list. It not only have a nice scent, it's relatively inexpensive, available everywhere, and works for quite a few maladies. Scratches, minor burns, rashes, sore tummies, headache and is good for a peaceful night's sleep. He has 9 more such as Chamomile and Tea Tree. It's good that Dr. Ozz was able to clarify that the label should say "Therapeutic Grade" or "100% Pure" and we are assured we are getting the right oil to use for our family. Reading the age group oil concentration is a comprehensive guide to know what the right oil and right amount to use.
