## Description

10-10-10 with Aminos (5.5%) & Seaweed Extract is a generic liquid fertilizer designed for all stages of plant growth.

Review: Just received and initial thoughts, plus update! - Out of the wrapping, the Triple 10 (NPK = Nitrogen-Phosphorous-Potassium = 10-10-10 %) bottle alone is impressive design! I really hope the company patented it! My plan is to use the Triple 10 on select plants at select times. Re the few negative reviews on the product, I’ll say this — 1. Every gardener should know what plants they have, and what their NPK requirements are at different stages. Many plants (e.g., cilantro/coriander) have low nitrogen requirements so won’t like even 10% N feeding. The same attention is required for other plants re P and K. Many plants need help to flower or bear fruit, so will want higher P than the product’s 10% when that time comes. No manufacturer can list the thousands of species or species’ life stages their product can benefit. It pays to be an informed gardener, and is easy with web searches. Too, not all plants may like the amino acids or seaweed extract of the product. Again, it’s the gardner’s job to do their research. 2. Plant soils should be tested for PH to determine how acidic and alkaline their mediums are. High peat (acidic) mixes may well need to be countered by lime (alkaline) to balance. It depends on the plant. 3. Container pot gardening is VERY different from planted gardening. While container pots afford maximum portability, whether to adjust sun exposure or reposition to fine tune aesthetic focal points, the confinements make the plants more responsive to fertilizing (for better or worse). When introducing a new fertilizer, I’d recommend diluting even more, to reduce potential shock and be safe. 4. The Triple 10 bottle must be SHAKEN before use. If there is prior solution remaining in the measured part, I recommend recycling it back into to the larger bottle. The two screw-top spouts make it possible. I’m guessing some commenters may not have done this, so may have poured a non-10-10-10 concentration into their gallon of water. 5. Note 4 above is not to say the product is necessarily beyond reproach. Bad ‘batches’ can and do happen in manufacturing. To those whom are particularly concerned, I’d recommend doing all of the above, then testing on a single plant or seedling at partial strength. 6. Don’t assume just because your plants look good from the nursery or market, or what you’ve planted looks great, that they’re thriving. Often, wholesale nurseries cultivate their plants only long enough to speed to markets and still look good. They’re root bound, need thinning, are often in medium inappropriate for longevity, and then get overwatered by the well-meaning but not-garden-specialist retailer. Orchids in particular are notorious for dying when left in the wholesalers’ moisture-holding sphagnum moss. Whether from a retailer or started from seed, no plant wants to sit in water-logged substrate. Root rot happens out of sight, and will eventually kill the plant. I suspect one negative reviewer’s ‘results’ were actually due to his unawareness of his squash’s soil and roots below the surface, and that it was only brought to sight with his full-dose fertilizer application. 7. BTW, Not to get into the weeds (ha!), but generally speaking, seeds do not need fertilizer in order to germinate. The seed itself carries all the nutrients the seed needs. It’s only after germination that any fertilizer might be necessary. Update: Yesterday (start of June in zone 6a/6b), I dosed several of my outdoor container pot plants (5-year-old fig tree, small potted spearmints, other mint seedlings in cell flats, and a ‘mystery seedling’ that emerged from another plant’s soil) with full (1oz/gal water) and diluted (1/2 oz/gal water) Triple 10. 24 hours later, the results are truly impressive! So today, I dosed my Black-eyed Susan vine seedlings (recently transplanted to my Earth Box with trellis), potted rosemary, and potted Meyer Lemon Tree with diluted Triple 10. I’d use it elsewhere, but my other plants require either no fertilizer or other NPK formulations. Too, I’d like to give a shout-out to the online app “Picture This” for plant identification and trouble-shooting. Compared to other plant apps, I’ve found it to be fairly accurate and mostly supportive of my experience and independent research.
Review: Works as we had hoped! Greener plants with more flowers in a short time. - Bought this to fertilize some lantanas and a few other plants. Mixed as directed and watered through an Ortho Dial and Spray and the plants flowered and became greener within about 2+ weeks. Definitely noticed a difference. This has become part of our regular plant schedule to keep a nice looking yard.
