He cut through the seemingly arbitrary set of schematic patterns and explained the grounding of scales and chords in the physics of sound (via intervals). Very satisfying. Review: A good book for beginners - A pretty good book, but they never end on true last note. This book is extremely helpful to the beginner guitarist. Not only teaches A TON on information but the structure is really great. No complicated or fuzzy chapters, really clear. It cover finding notes throughout the fretboard,learning the major scale (super important for a guitar player) with its different shapes, putting them in practice, mastering the chords (not only the open ones or easy ones but other shapes on the fretboard) and much more. You can immediately see the Author explains all the subject from his own words and that makes the book really simple to follow. This book makes a perfect complement to the previous one he created.
