I had already bought 4 other hats before this particular hat. One instore that I personally altered to try and make work, and still wont fit. One that my wife bought for me off Ebay that I personally picked out, which only turned into buying a hat that looks nothing like what the pictured shows(on or off the head). The hat that I wore before this one which is old enough for me to desperately need to purchase a new hat. Annnnnnnnd.. the first cadet hat that I ever bought and would honestly say to anyone, "You wouldn't wanna wear it in it's current state.." I stumbled upon this hat only because I had an afternoon I didn't mind dedicating to a complete comb filtering of google/Amazon/eBay for cadet style hats. Not only did this one look far more appealing than 95% of what you find on Amazon, Ebay, google.. etc, it's actually just as well made and comfortable as it looks. If you couldn't feel the brutal honesty up till now, maybe this will ease you into my little cyber world that I'm using you're hand to suspend in thin air.. The hat I'm reviewing that I bought and paid for, the hat that I absolutely love and have never found a hat to be as comfortable, visually appealing, or affordable as, The hat that I'm taking up as much time out of my life to review as I am, when I never review anything, ever.. I can't even wear comfortably.. Yet!!! The head circumference is near perfect and just loose enough that I don't get headaches from wearing it all day, cause if you haven't already guessed it, I'm a hat guy, who just happens to have wore these types of hats professionally before wearing them personally. The bill is perfectly centered so as to not lean to one side or the other as if drunk off of fun from being crafted into existence. The stitching, craftsmanship, the material, the eagle logo, buckle, vents, etc are all top notch. You can tell just by looking at it that everything that went into the creation of this hat was of the utmost quality. It's even packaged and sent out to you with an insert to already have the bill shaped for you(not something I'm used to seeing with these types of hat purchases). My own personal issue is that It's just barely too tall that it rests on my ears and pushes them out a bit. I have worn it out twice. Both times I just kinda squeeze the top and front sides in a little and it looks great. I may readjust it once or twice throughout the day but I really don't have too. Even though the hat didn't fit me perfectly out of the box, I'm determined to find a location near me who can alter the hat to be a cm or two shorter, if that, to fit me just right. I'm not the kinda guy that buys "uh" hat and wears it all day everday... I buy "The" Hat and wear it all day, everday. I spoke to Jessica personally and I have to say, her hats reflect this type of quality for a reason. I'll recommend this hat to everyone who's cool enough to wear it. Thanks for taking the time to create a great product for us OCD people who need that extra mile. Crappy hat Manufacturer's Beware! I wore the hat constantly and while it is still with me more than 10 years later, it's definitely showing it's age, so I was on the lookout for a new one!I looked around and couldn't find many that had what I was looking for, until I found this one. It's in the cadet style that I've grown fond of, it's got an attractive but low-key logo, it's got a few other aesthetically pleasing design choice, some vents for breathability, and it fits well to boot!
