I am really good with this stuff, but these tools didn't produce a good job for me. If your joints are anything less than a perfect 90 degree angle they don't work well and most joints are not perfect. Also, I used it on bathroom tile in my shower and every time I went over a tile joint it left an impression across the entire joint line. I found it all very messy and I was not happy with the end result. I did one joint and ended up removing it and doing it the same way that I have done it for years with excellent results. I don't know. Maybe with hours of practice you can work around these problems, but this is not for me. Also, perhaps a more expensive set may work better. When it works, the caulk lines were professional. When it did not, the whole caulking was a mess.The concept is great but needs good half tube worth of practice to perfect the slow, steady streak. With practice you will know the speed, the angle and when to stop to wipe the tool.First job was half professional and half shabby. Second job in another bathroom was professional. Tool is amazing. It does work. I don’t think that expensive, high end fugi tools are really required when this one can do the job.If you cannot make it work then don’t blame on this tool. With all these pieces!But I was wrong. When caulking across tiles joints the profiling pieces made caulk stipples at each joint. I had to revert to the finger-with-soap-and-water smoothing method.Even though it's painful to pay so much for a few pieces of molded plastic, for my next caulking job I'll shell out for the high-priced kit, just so I can attach a plastic footing. That way I can keep the profiling tool steady as I glide over tile joints.Wobe gets 3 stars because they deliver what they say they will.
