It is deep enough to sauté and shallow enough to fry. I have cooked potatoes and eggs that have turned out perfectly. Definitely a win! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Safe, lightweight & totally nonstick *by C***A on Reviewed in the United States on May 22, 2022* A crack somehow appeared in our glass cooktop overnight and it wouldn't work properly. Thankfully I pulled out a portable induction burner I bought years ago ("just in case") and was able to use it with all my enameled cast iron and stainless steel cookware. However, because all of my ceramic nonstick pans were aluminum based, they did not work. I was looking for an Japanese omlet pan anyway, and liked that this stated that it contained "NO PFOA, NO PTFE, No Cadmium, and No Lead" - since many of the other I saw listed only had stated that they were "PFOA-free", but did not mention anything about being PTFE-free (or cadium-free).Moving on to the pan... Well, it's bigger than I expected. I was looking for a small egg pan for a 1 or 2 omlet. You can easily put 6.. even 8 eggs in this (although it would be a huge rolled omlet!). I did make a 2 egg omlet, but I was only able to pour egg into it twice total. However, if you want to make a 4 egg omlet to share (or if you have a hungry man appetite), this is the best size for you. I've only used it twice so far - yesterday for a 2 egg omlet with cheese inside; and today I made a banana omlet with 2 eggs (I had bananas that desperately needed to be used). With the addition of the banana and some milk, it made enough batter to be able to roll it 4 times. Nothing stuck with a minimum amount of oil, and because I wanted to keep this in new condition, I only use a wet kitchen washcloth with soap to wash it... if you can call it washing. I just needed to touch the cloth and everything basically washed away on its own. The one other thing I wish would be different is for the round metal plate that's on the bottom of the pan (for the induction capability) be made more square-ish. As you can see in the photo, the edges of the eggs are cooked lighter than the center. It's definitely not a deal-breaker, because regardless of the shape of the disk, the eggs were still thoroughly and evenly cooked. I'm keeping this pan, but if they come out with one half the size, I'm getting that one too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My Favorite Skillet *by A***. on Reviewed in the United States on November 8, 2022* Originally bought the TECHEF - CeraTerra Ceramic Nonstick Tamagoyaki Japanese Omelette Pan to make rolled omelets. I now use this skillet for anything that will fit in it.It heats so evenly it puts our really expensive pans to shame.Works excellent on my gas stove as well as my hot plate.Ultra smooth finish, nothing sticks, cleans so easy. Has never discolored.I use my TECHEF - CeraTerra Ceramic Nonstick Tamagoyaki Japanese Omelette Pan between 5-15 times per week!
