I just wish it had a flatter fretboard radius and was a little easier to get to the high frets. But its still great for lead and rhythm and a beginner would not complain with this. The pickups are exceptional for a guitar at this price. They have a really good metal tone and also sound great for clean. The tremelo isn't the best so I recommend just using it as a hardtail.
