I originally bought 1/8” 6011, 6013, and 7018 rods for this machine, as it rated at 120 amps. However, it was not able to run the 1/8” rods at all. It can run 3/32” rods decently, except for 7018, because it requires higher amperage than the others. In reality, I think this welder only puts out about 70-80 amps. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic Mini welder and best buy on Amazon *by R***. on Reviewed in the United States on June 11, 2019* I was shocked to see the size of this welder and wondered if it could do what I needed when I opened the package. It is a powerful welder and very light weight. The first task I had to do was weld stainless steel and this welder did it effortlessly for 7 straight hours without an issue. I have been welding for 30 years and this machine impressed me. You can not go wrong with this buy, hands down best welder for the money I've ever seen.
