These Christian guitar picks feature the ichthys image (sometimes referred to as the "Jesus Fish"). Ichthys means fish in Koine Greek, the original language of the New Testament. ICHTHYS (?????) is an acronym in Greek, which stands for Jesus, Christ, God's, Son, Savior. Additionally there are many fish references in the New Testament. There are fishing-based parables. These picks are made of high-quality celluloid (technically cellulose acetate nitrate, often referred to as pearloid when accompanied by the textured pearl design).
