They rarely break or shred at the bottom (when I try to shove it in an overly-ice-filled cup). They don't deteriorate. They don't really crease, if you're a straw biter. They're wide enough to drink a protein shake through (think thin milkshake). They're just a really good quality straw! Between this box and whatever I can get from out-of-county convenience stores, I've made this box last almost six years! I rinse them out when I'm done and re-use them, which helps stretch a dollar, too.
