The copper is as brilliant as I had hoped. I debated a long time before deciding on this set & I'm so happy I chose this. The box is very attractive, as well, & the mugs are protected in the box by thin strips of packaging plastic. Washing instructions (by hand) are on the back of the box, as well as the recipe for the Moscow Mule drink. My only additional wish would be a paper of facts/ideas for these in addition to the recipe, such as: good for all cold citrus drinks or other cold drinks, advantages of copper, hammered advantages, supposed health advantages of copper, & other recipes. These are to be a gift. I would order these again.
