Other necklaces intended for use for diffusing essential oils usually dissipated soon after applying the oils. Since you place the oil into a holding chamber in the base of the necklace and you simply tip the pendant to dispense oil onto the felt wick, the fragrance lasts a long time. I also find the design very classically appealing.
