But these little converter rings are a case study in perfection. I tried all three of the ones i bought and the threads all work beautifully, even the super fine thread starts (which can often cause crossthreads) are perfect. It also meant that I only needed one ring rather from 67-77 mm rather than two rings 67-72 and then 72-77. With only one ring being needed I can leave it on my camera all the time and then attach my filters as and when I want to. Very neat.
