Also, please use these basic instructions for preparing to cook and cleaning up to prevent propane loss or freezing your hands: 1) Take the lid off the propane container and attach only the converter first. Verify during this step your stove is completely in the off position. 2) Once the converter is twisted on the propane properly, take your stove and twist it onto the converter, I recommend twisting it on relatively quickly to prevent venting too much propane (holding the stove and twisting the propane worked best for us for speed). Do not over tighten. 3) Slowly turn on the stove and light when you start hearing the gas. Be conservative with the propane to be safe.
