He wanted a black ring for sure. This one had just enough detail to make it not boring but still simple enough to not stand out too much. My husband loves it! Been wearing for 4 months so far and no chips, scratches, or dulling, and he's very active and lifts weights regularly. It looks very similar to a Kay ring that was 300-400 dollars. I’m not sure if it scratches or not because I just got it but so far I love the quality (appearance, weight, feel, size, etc.). I thought the whole ring was going to be the same shiny material but the zig zag design on the outside of the ring is somewhat of a matte finish. This makes the appearance look very good but I’m wondering if that is the part that will scratch or not.
