Yep, this works. *by J***C on Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2020* Originally bought a Ryzen 5 processor that came with a screw-on fan. Then upgraded to Ryzen 7 which had a clip type fan. I had thrown away my clip mounts (I'm not gonna need those, right?) Bought this, screwed on the two clip mounts from this kit into my motherboard back plate from the previous install and I was done. The included backplate mounting holes don't fully come through my motherboard (as the stock one does), but the mount holes do extend far enough up to keep the backplate from moving and would have worked with stock screw on fan. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Works as intended *by D***S on Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2022* Needed it for my new cpu cooler.
