I used double sided strong tape to stick my curtains onto it - I made an over the bed canpoy. I would fix a track on the wall and put the pelmet over it. **Q: What are they made off ? Can the end be cut off to enable to join 2 together to fit larger window ?** A: they are very light when I received mine one end was broken off and no I don't thonk you can join 2 together you need to buy the right size **Q: How do these fit to the pole?** A: No they fit over the pole and so it will hide all the gubbings.
