The magnetic band came with 2 connectors that went on to the GeaFit 2. The magnetic band was threaded through 18mm pins on the 2 connectors. When I unthreaded the magnetic band, I left on the connectors and took a shot in the dark that I could attach an 18mm buckle style band to my GearFit 2. Found exactly what I wanted with this Speidel silicone band and VOILA! It worked like a charm! The Speidel band was a bit too long but since it os silicone, I just sliced off a bit with a razor blade and I couldn't be happier with it.
