I set it up wired as I do all of my Amcrest cameras, and then unplugged the ethernet, and it would not attach to the WiFi network. I reset to factory defaults and went through the setup again 2 more times with the same result. I never mounted this camera outside because It would not work indoors close to the Wifi access point.Amcrest has issues with their firmware sometimes, and this may be the case with this model. I returned it for a full refund. ### ⭐ Stay away *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on July 5, 2019* I have bought numerous products from this company. The software is so buggy you likely won't be able to intall it and troubleshoot it yourself. So you will need to call tech support and they will log on to your computer and do it for you.......Afterwards they will direct you online to the Amazon page to add a positive review. Because you are happy they got your camera working again you comply.These reviews of my previous Foscam cameras this current one broke right out of the box before I could even install it.The fact is the camera and the software and the support is so junky you need their help to keep the camera working. Some features like fttp would not work, leaving you having to open the camera to remove the SD card to get the videos onto your computer. There are better options out there. One last thing is the company started importing one brand then switched leaving the older camera owners without tech support. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just Great *by M***S on Reviewed in the United States on July 12, 2019* We just got these and put one on the desk in our warehouse to test. It still has the clear plastic over the lens and it is clear! Bought two of these, one for the front door and one for the rear, will install them in a week, but so far they are just great, super high resolution and no problems at all. Solidly built, and professional, and unbelievable for the price I may even use them at my house. They are supported by their own software for a PC and App which is great, but they also are supported by a Synology NAS if you use one of these at home, etc. Using their software I had them up and running in minutes. They can record based on motion and send you a notification of motion as well. night vision is really very good too.
