Review: Amazing and easy sound improvement - Tweeters fit perfectly and carry a very crisp and clean sound profile. The 6x9 components sound is very tight and punchy and carries a very good range into the lower frequencies. I had it run on a 30 watt at 2 ohm headunit and there was still a sound improvement. When I attached them to my external amplifier I was blown away. Def sound proof your door up if you can.

Tweeters fit perfectly and carry a very crisp and clean sound profile. The 6x9 components sound is very tight and punchy and carries a very good range into the lower frequencies. I had it run on a 30 watt at 2 ohm headunit and there was still a sound improvement. When I attached them to my external amplifier I was blown away. Def sound proof your door up if you can.

These speakers are light years ahead of the factory ones in construction and sound quality. With only the factory, nonJBL stereo (no time alignment, no eq., etc.) the sound is amazing. The sound seems like it is coming from the windshield like a stage, rather than down low where you hear the factory speakers. LITERALLY plug and play, perfect fit. ### ⭐⭐ Not much of an improvement

I replaced the front speakers on my 4Runner with these. The tweeters were NOT plug and play. I had to rig it and in the process ruined one of the tweeters. Not sure if a 2017 is slightly different than other models or not but it certainly is not plug and play. The speakers had a big magnet and looked good, but the sound was barely better, certainly not worth the cost. Now that being said, I am sure with the addition of an amp they probably would be way better than stock but I can't tell you for sure as i didn't add an amp. If you do decide to get these, don't do it unless you add an amp. That's my advice.
