My feet did get a bit sore along the seam where the sole meets the sides of the shoe, but when I'm used to my feet being mushed in shoes this cute, I was really happy this was the only issues I had.The clasp is nothing I've ever seen before. And it's really hard to describe if you've never seen it before. Suggestion on hooking it: move the buckle to the tightness you need, then hook the clasp/hook to in front of the buckle. I didn't have any issues with them staying on.But I do recommend these if the style is what you're looking for. I wore them to a wedding and didn't need to take them off nearly as early as other shoes I've worn.
