They were sturdy and cane in clutch for a variety of reasons (grocery, garbage, laundry separators). We took these overseas with us as there are many countries that don’t provide bags. So why 4 stars? One thing to note is that the carrying bag (small bag) is not attached to the actual bag (big bag) you want to use, therefore you might lose it. I just tossed it in the bag whenever I was using it. However, overall this wasn’t an issue for us, but it wouldn't take much to correct that problem by the manufacturer, maybe a stitch or something. Still these are sturdy and reliable.
