Luckily it wasn't my sled that broke down. I had to tow my friend's heavy yamaha snowmobile about 20 miles to the trail head. It was a miserable experience but the tow strap worked amazing. Super easy to connect and disconnect. At one point we had to cross a water hole, which put a huge strain on the tow rope, but it held up great. By connecting it to the spindles or ski-hooks you do a better job of pulling the sled up and over whatever obstacles you encounter. Also, I've had it sitting in my tank bag for 3 years and there's no sign of rust, even though it gets very wet back there.
