We replaced an old single T5 unit on our 90-gallon, 48- inch reef tank, and our corals LOVE these lights (Can't tell about the fish, though they seem to be happy, too). We started off at the lowest setting, and even at that, they have just bloomed. Don't know about longevity of the units yet, as we've just had them for a couple of weeks. The biggest challenge has been to hang them from the ceiling, as two units hang from 4 points each, very different from our old unit. We've figured it out by trial and error, as we couldn't find a hanging system we liked.
