## Questions & Answers

**Q: How can I get the connector to connect my led bulb**
A: Hi, there is a connector that originally connected with your stock ballasts. Please remove the stock ballasts because LED bulbs do not need ballasts, and then plug the pins to the this connector.
Thanks for shopping with DZG.

**Q: Will these fit the 2012 Audi A5 ?**
A: Hi, the D3S led bulb will fit the 2012 Audi A5 (with original HID-D3S headlights).

DZG have several types D series led bulbs like N1, N3, N5, N9 series, you can choose the one you prefer. Thank you.

**Q: How to connect to d3s stock connector ? Please provide photo...**
A: I paid my mechanic to install. The HID the wiring to the ballast had to be cut and connect the the LED hardware.

**Q: Will it fit a 2015 gmc yukon denali?**
A: Hi, yes, our D1S/D1R/D3S/D3R LED bulb works as low beam for your vehicle if your original low bulb is HID-D3S.

Because high beam headlight bulb of 2015 GMC Yukon is 9005, low beam is H11 or HID-D3S.

Thanks for shopping with DZG. Any question, please contact us. Thank you!

Replaced dying HID lights in a 2001 Acura TL

*by A***K on Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2020*

My low beam lights would turn on but when the temperature was in the 30s or below or if it was raining, the driver side bulb would turn off after a few minutes but the passenger low beam light would stay on. Flicking my lights off and then back on would temporarily fix the issue at first but over time no longer worked. The HID bulbs were only a year old, and after some reading online I figured the OEM ballast was going bad and possibly the igniter too (both are prone to moisture damage). Rather than buying a used OEM ballast (which would likely eventually have the same issues), or a taking a gamble on a new aftermarket HID kit (ballast, igniter, HID bulb), I decided to upgrade my low beam bulbs to these LEDs (D2Rs).Obviously every car is different and I am not liable for any damages or injuries so read below at your own discretion! This is how I installed these LED bulbs:Taking off the bumper and putting together the headlight assembly: I took off my front bumper (found a YouTube video on this, most Japanese cars are like this to access both low beam bulbs), I then unbolted both of my headlight assemblies and then unplugged all the connections and brought the assemblies inside. I twisted and removed the protective cap to get to the HID bulb, and I unclipped, unscrewed, and removed the igniter, ballast, and HID bulb from the headlight assembly. I safely and appropriately discarded these items since the LED bulbs did not need them. There was a rubber grommet with two tiny holes where the original wires went through coming out of the headlight assembly. I removed this grommet by pulling it towards the inside of the headlight assembly. Wearing the anti-static gloves that came with the bulbs, I put the new LED bulb into the headlight assembly in the same direction and manner as the HID bulb, and secured the bulb using the wire clip that was part of my headlight assembly, and I made sure the LED bulb was fixed tightly to the circular fitting that came with it. The LED bulb also has a small "box" attached to it; I put this tiny box in the headlight assembly as well and zip tied it in place using the provided zip ties so it would not move around. I then pulled the new LED bulb wires through the hole where the grommet once was (I did not put the grommet back in since it had two tiny holes for wires, and this LED bulb has the two wires bound together until the connector pins). I first made sure the protective cap would clear the LED bulb (which has a fan on the bottom) and then I put the protective cap back on the headlight assembly to cover the bulb. I read online some folks do not put the cap back on and just put some duct tape over the whole either because the original cap won't clear the LED bulb or to allow better ventilation for the LED bulb, but I figured since I removed the rubber grommet where the wires ran out of the headlight assembly, there would be enough air flow and minimal over heating, all while keeping the moisture out. Since I had to take off the bumper and had access to my other bulbs (day time lights and high beams), I decided to replace these as well (I just used regular halogen bulbs since these were not HID bulbs for my car).Plugging in the bulbs: I did not know what the power supply clip looked like which originally plugged into the ballast, so I ordered these LED bulbs because they a positive and negative pin (rather than a clip/plug like other LED bulbs I saw on amazon). I figured these were more "universal". I stuck the red and black wire pins directly into the power supply plug making sure to stick them in the correct holes. I then wrapped the connection very well with a ton of electrical tape, covering the power supply clip and the pins of the LED bulb wire so nothing was exposed. I was going to also use a heat shrink wrap or some sort of tubing but just ended up using a good amount of tightly wrapped electrical tape. I plugged in the day time bulb and high beam bulb. I tested the lights to make sure they worked and then I bolted the headlight assemblies back into place and re-installed my bumper.Overall:These LED bulbs are great, and provide the same amount of light as my HID bulbs did. I made sure to install them in the same direction as my HID bulbs were and I get the same beam pattern. Unless I put my ear to the headlight when they are turned on, I cannot hear the LED bulb fans. Currently I have had about 3 hours of run time with these LED bulbs (over an hour with one driving session) and have not had any issues, but will update over time. Hopefully they last longer than my car! And if there are any issues in the future, at least I know it will likely just be the bulb, and I don't have to worry about trouble shooting any other parts (like a ballast, igniter, etc.).

Plug didn't fit and build was not like as seen in the picture

*by B***N on Reviewed in the United States on March 7, 2021*

Basically it did not work because the product I received was not as the one advertised. I bought it refurbished thinking I was gonna get a good deal but seems like it ended me up with the wrong bulb which does not fitUpdate: returned and bought another and they sent me the right one this time. I hooked it up and its bright but not as bright as I was expecting. It's a little brighter than the factory HID's but it also doesn't shine as evenly as the HID's. I guess my HID's weren't too bad after all. These also seem to get hot really fast. I let it on a plastic part of my car when I first plugged them in to test and within a minute it already got so hot I saw steam and plastic melting because I panic and quickly shut it off. So you should make sure it's secured properly because if it falls out and the heatsink touches something you have the high possibility of melting wiring. The fan seems to always spin when the light is on but the noise really isn't noticeable unless you put your ear right next to it and even though the fan was spinning it still didn't cool it down much as this LED gets HOT.

    VERY HAPPY

*by P***6 on Reviewed in the United States on April 23, 2023*

I did a lot of research for affordable, quality, and bright D3S D3R Led Bulbs on Dr. Google. These bulbs checked all boxes on multiple sites, so I bought them. They are bright and I can see so much better at night now. I installed these on my 2017 Mustang GT, which is not a simple job, so making the right decision on the bulbs I purchased was important. These are true 6000k bulbs. They are bright, made well. This is my new go to brand for headlight and fog light bulbs. I will add a picture or video later. I should have taken a before/after picture, but too late for that.If you’re researching LED bulbs, these are great.
