Duragloss total performance polish is a synthetic polymer/wax formula. Duragloss total performance polish is a cleaner and polish in one that improves and protects the paint surface for an incredibly durable finish. The tough, synthetic coating stands up to harsh environmental conditions such as pollution, acid rain, intense sun, sap, and bird droppings. The durable finish protects paint for up to one year. Duragloss total performance polish is so durable that it resists both acidic and alkaline cleaners. When the labels of Duragloss' bug remover and water spot remover say they will not remove durable polishes, this is the durable polish they're referring to. Total performance polish shields the paint through automatic car washes, acid rain and spot cleaners for up to a year. To get the maximum longevity out of Duragloss total performance polish, apply a coat of Duragloss polish bonding agent to the paint first, sold separately. Allow it to dry to a haze but do not buff. Apply Duragloss total performance polish on top of the haze and buff them both off at the same time with a soft microfiber towel. I like this product for its ease of use, cleaning power and durability. Graphene products are great and far more durable, but they lack cleaning power and they mess up the microfibers in one use. I do not use clay and polish because I do not have the time for it and that is where this product shines - it removes dirt from your paint surface, which is very important for any product to stick to the paint. Use it with the combination of DG 601.
Review: All in on UltraGloss! - This product combo of UltraGloss 105 and 601 is amazing. I have been detailing cars for 15 years, about 5 as a side business, so I have used a ton of products. My previous favorite was Liquid Glass but they went out of business. Reviews seem strong on this product line so I tried it out. I stripped the previous sealant with Dawn and a clay bar. That combo works well to prep the surface. Then I applied the 601 which goes on real easy. Not sure what is in there..but seems to have some solvent properties as well as sealant properties. After that just wipe on the 105, let it haze and then wipe off. So easy. Man it looks good. We will see how longevity goes but I can tell this is good stuff. I also got the car wash and aquawax from their line. I did my car which I keep pristine so it looks great but I also did my wife's van which does not get as much love. Turned out great. Took 1.5 hours from wash to done.

**Q: Confused.  111 vs 105?  Which do I want?  Or when do you use one vs. the other?**
A: Both are good products.  111 IMHO does not last quite as long as 105.  My prep is to wash, work imperfections, clay, then I use the blend of 105 and 601 per duragloss website.  Get a good 6 to 8 mos with aquawax boosters after washes.

**Q: Has anyone had any trouble with this on a white vehicle? After clay bar, rubbing compound, polish, and 105, the 105 left various yellow stains for me.**
A: Adam - I have never personally used a claybar on any of my vehicles even my new XT4 when the dealership did a lousy job on my new car detail.  Do you have the #2 cleaner polish?  That is the only thing I use to prep the vehicle before polishing my wheels - it takes away imperfections, inground dirt, and the like. **Q: I have a hard time removing this product, much harder than my other waxes and sealnts do I need to use a really thin layer?**
A: I bought the line of products based on reviews. Not satisfied with any one of these products. Just spent 10 hours over two days detailing 4rnr with Meguire's. Used rubbing compound, polish then wax for final coats. It took a 4 year old neglected coat and restored it into a mirror/glass like finish. It also was very easy to remove and each layer built up foundation for the final wax. Very happy with that line. I threw out all duragloss products. the so called wax and polish did not last one month of texas heat and beaded very little water during rain storms. hope this helps but it is only my own experience.

**Q: Is this a wax or a polish? (polish contains micro abrasives wax does not)**
A: I would call it an all in one. It is both a sealant (synthetic wax) and has some very very mild corrective abilities. So it is a hybrid. Duragloss 111 Clear Coat Polish is what you would want for just a wax. It states it is non abrasive right on it.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality Shine, warrants purchasing an electric buffer.

I do not normally review items on amazon but i figured my experience might help other "novice" car car customers. I should start by saying purchasing my new car spurred my interest in researching the best car care & detailing products. I found a site/source that highly recommended the Duragloss 105 wax. Nearly all of my previous wax experience was the NAPA types.... Turtle wax, Meguiars, etc. I'm no auto detailing expert so i do not know how to judge the products themselves. Meaning, it's hard for me to discern the difference between Meguiars and Duragloss. I will have to trust the experts on the quality. What i can detail is my experience putting the Duragloss on my car. I will say that i started out by putting on an excessive amount of wax. The Mequiars i last used needed much more product to cover the same surface area. Thus, with too much wax on the car it was exceedingly difficult to buff off (by hand). Once I discovered this everything got much easier. It is still way more difficult to "buff" than the Maguiars product. Maybe this is the mark of a superior product?? Anyways, when i put it on too thick i spent at least 2-4x longer buffing an area. When i got it down to a good level of wax it still took 2x longer to buff off. If I had know this i probably would have opted to buy a cheap electric buffer. Like most home users, i only wax two cars either once or twice a year. I don't need an industrial buffer, a decent home unit will be on my list to purchase. This Duragloss also took longer to set up (time between application and when it is ready to be buffed) so between set-up and buffing the whole process took considerably longer than i was used to. I should also note that this product did not discolor the black plastic pieces of the car like some other waxes do. In short, don't over apply the product, allow for extra time to let the product set up, and be prepared to wear out your shoulder buffing it off. Otherwise I love the shine it put on my new car. The wax is insanely smooth. I'm very happy with the end result.
