But I'm only giving it 3 stars because it has to be assembled on the wall. You can not pre-assemble it and hang it, you have to actually assemble it to the wall. This means you must do a lot of measuring and have a carpenter's level to make sure everything is perfect before you start drilling holes in your wall. I'm a pretty good handyman, so I have all the necessary tools and knowledge. But not everyone is going to have the tools and knowledge to actually build this on the wall and have it come out square and level.We had purchased 2 units, and had planned to mount them side by side at the same height. But once I realized that they have to be built on the wall, I realized that if any drill holes were just slightly off, it would be very noticeable to the eye. The metal brackets are sturdy and hold very well. The instructions for installing are easy enough if you have a wide space. Mine was going between two walls, so I had to do some extra tricks to slide the boards in first and rest them on misc objects while securing the second bracket and then centering the boards when done.
