I also have a 600mbps virgin connection and get around 535 when connected to the main deco. Using Ethernet I get 635 (you get more than u pay for with virgin). On the satellites WiFi I get around 250mbps and 300-350 using Ethernet. There not the fastest units there are but those figures are very very usable with no issues watching 4K and kids gaming. **Q: If i connect this to my Vodaphone router via Ethernet, will it server as purely and wireless access point just with one of these?** A: Yes, but you will need to turn off the wireless channels on your router. **Q: The tpo link deco m5 1 pack will this plug into netgear router as wifi is poor?** A: If you have a modem you need to plug the M5 into that, if you have a combined modem/router (Virgin Media, like mine) it needs to be put in modem mode. Effectively the M5 becomes the (wireless) router.
